Welcome to Our New Arise Africa International Blog!

We are particularly excited about launching this blog alongside Arise Africa International Website ( We pray that you’ll be a regular visitor on our site as well as becoming part of Arise Africa Family. In this blog, we’ll share with you what God is doing in our lives and in the ministry of Arise Africa International.

ARISE AFRICA INTERNATIONAL is a Christian Non-Government Organization that

began in 1998 under the leadership of Rev. Godfrey Wanamitsa. We began with little money and few resources, but big vision. God blessed, and today Arise Africa has over 140 employees, over 260 churches, partners from all over the world, and more projects than we can enumerate in this small paragraph. Through the years, the strategy has changed but the vision and mission have remained the same.

OUR VISION : All people can be saved if they believe in Christ Jesus our Lord (1 John 3:16, 1 Timothy 2:1-4)


  1. We exist to preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all people by all means.

  2. We exist to establish New Testament churches.

  3. We exist to help planted New Testament churches to grow: a. To be like Christ. b. To be Self Propagating. c. To be Self Theologizing.  d. To be Self Sustaining.

  1. Loving God, His word and all people. (Mark 12:30-31)

  2. Walking in Obedience to His commands. (Romans 6:16, 1Peter 1:2)

  3. Led by His Spirit. (Galatians 5:18)

  4. Living in the Hope of His coming. (1Thess 4:14-17)

  5. Preaching the Gospel of Christ Salvation. (Romans 1:16, Mark 16:1)

  6. Becoming like Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-13)

  7. Empowered by His Spirit, Working Hard and diligently, doing all things excellently as unto the Lord. (Acts 1:18, Proverbs 10:4)

  8. Walking in Faith and by Faith. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

  9. Walking in Righteousness. (Matthew 6:33)

  10. Walking in Integrity, Humility and Accountability. (1Kings 9:4, Prov. 11:13, 1 Peter 5:5, Prov. 15:33, Romans 14:12)

  11. Teaming and working in unity with all who are called to be part of the Vision and Mission. (Ephesians 4:16, Ephesians 4:3)

Arise and Shine for Thy Light has Come….(Isaiah 60:1)

In a way of fulfilling our mission and vision, Arise Africa rescues orphans, trains pastors, plants churches and schools, does medical clinic outreaches, hut-to-hut evangelism among other things. We also do agriculture projects that help to sustain our work driven by our vision to see all people find life in Christ.
